[ordinarily, he'd pull away with a reaction like that, but he can't bring himself to do so whenever there are so many bruises on baby's body. if there's one thing he wishes, it would be that he could heal him (and himself, maybe), yet there's no way for that to happen and it only serves to frustrate him even more. so, he tries not to think about it too much.
rather than focus on that, he pours his attention into making sure baby is patched up too, knowing full-well that he has plenty of time to worry later.
he isn't even really thinking about the other saja boys at the moment because if he does, that means wondering what might happen if they come across each other and he doesn't know if that would be a good or bad thing right now. mystery does his best to be gentle, even though he knows baby can handle it, that doesn't mean he wants to hurt him further.
once baby steps into his space, he finishes bandaging his wounds first then he lowers his arms and hooks them around the other demon, holding him close, a light scowl coming across his face as well.
